Nonlogs likely exit scam or owner dead/in jail (and related thoughts)
-
It looks like nonlogs.io is kaput. WOW withdrawals have been working but BTC, USDT, XMR, and GRIN all stopped a couple weeks ago now. Supposedly the USDT has moved out of address it was in, I have not independently verified this, but the situation sucks.
We are left with altquick.com , cexswap.cc , noirtrade.io , and anonkyc.io I think, and altquick has high deposit fees on BTC and XMR and low liquidity in generaly. Cexswap has bit better liquidity but BTC withdrawals have been paused since they suffered a hack a few months back. And the last two have zero liquidity I think.
Again, the situation sucks. So, what can we do at this point? My immediate plan is to add support for WOW p2p atomic swaps in Smirk Wallet that are compatible with Basicswap dex. Hopefully this gives folks a bit more easy access to using the Basicswap service and an unruggable way to trade.

just tried basicswap and there was only 2 offers T_T
a particl -> xmr and a particl -> wow but not even xmr <-> wow trades which is sad Y_Y
didnt activate ltc/btc tho so maybe there would have been offers there but who knows
edit: as per the neroswap link below, there's indeed more offers if enabling ltc/btc which is good to know, ty on the links
clicking on noirtrade.io and anonkyc.io does a "Problem loading page - Server not found" error thing
seems like cexswap might have some volume on the usdt pair, no volume on the other pairs, didnt know about altquick which seems ok volume all things considered, only paired with btc seems like but at least the xmr/btc pair doesnt lag on the price unlike nonlogs (which yea, seems like an exit at this point :/)
and so many "instant swap exchanges" nowadays but not a single one with wow... sad T_T
i havent checked the smirk wallet yet but sounds like more atomic swaps support should probably be the way to go at this point yea
thank you on the post and forum

I think it is always been low liquidity on Basicswap, but I think there's more than two offers, I am pretty sure this scraper is up to date/working:
https://neroswap.com/basicswapAlso, Basicswap just added support for Nostr I think, lemme see...from three weeks ago:
https://github.com/basicswap/basicswap/blob/v0.19.0/doc/release-notes.md#0190Nostr can carry offers and swap messages, alongside or instead of SMSG and SimpleX.
Thinking about trying to add SimpleX support in Smirk Wallet also, but it is built using Nostr already so we are starting there. I hope now that basicswap is supporting more networks (rather than forcing users to use the Particl coin network SMSG thing and pay in particl coin) and also Smirk wallet support/compatibility make for decent and pretty easy to use unruggable "exchange".

noice, thanks on the links
just checked again cexswap and seems like the xmr <-> wow pair does have activity
then tried a few trades and it went pretty smoothly
the deposit times are accurate (how many block confirmation is needed)
like it was saying 10 confs to deposit on xmr and 10 confs is how long it took for balance on the website to be refreshed, was consistent and to widthdraw no issue eitherthen reading a bit more on the forum here seems like lots of work planned with the smirk wallet thing which i guess would be:
https://github.com/Such-Software/smirk-extension/releases
and wowcheckout for the site's shop:
https://github.com/Such-Software/wowcheckout/which on the wowcheckout page, cexswap is even mentioned to be used as a fallback for pricing, so i guess they're the solid option for now and xmr <-> wow directly is always nice

until more/better support on atomic swaps i guess :3
